Job Summary

Production Assembly Operators build seats and seat components for vehicles. Production Assembly Operators cycle through an established rotation of tasks within a workday, switching tasks every two hours. Other functions include but are not limited to seat teardown, seat repair, and minor equipment maintenance and adjustments.

 

Key Responsibilities of Production Assembly Operators

  •  Meet process, quality, and time requirements of each operation. 
  • Participate on quality teams as required for process improvement.
  • Comply with Quality, Environmental, Shop Rules, Safety Rules, and Material Management System requirements.
  • Report issues and improvements to support the overall build process.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Work safely by following all company policies, reporting all unsafe and unhealthy conditions, and reporting all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with the Magna Employee Charter and the Occupational Health & Safety Act. 
  • Perform on-the-job training as required.
  • Perform all tasks as per ODS and perform in station repairs as required.
